It is important that you realize that there are no shops on the island and if you require anything it will cost you a small fortune to get it air freighted over.
So please remember to take all medications required for your stay. A tube of antibiotic ointment is always recommended for small coral or oyster shucking cuts.
Keep it simple & super casual – shorts, t-shirts, swimwear & sarong. A spray jacket is a good idea as we are in the tropics and sometimes the weather isn’t perfect. In summer, a long sleeve loose cotton shirt – for sun protection if you plan to be out fishing on the beach all day. In winter some warm clothing, as the nights can get cool. e.g. a ‘trackie’ & a jumper.
A wide brimmed hat – and do not forget your sunscreen!
Reef shoes for exploring the reefs at low tide. Rubber thongs are recommended for everyday wear, but do not forget your walking shoes &/or ‘runners’.
Insects are not a major problem on the island however to have a good holiday, it’s wise not to forget the Aerogard (insect repellent)
A small torch and batteries.
Your camera & reading material – though there is a selection of novels in the cottage.
Rods & Fishing tackle – A few basic rods and a limited supply of tackle for beach fishing is available on request from the manager.
STRICTLY NO FIREARMS TO BE BROUGHT TO THE ISLAND
